The Keowee Fire Commission provides oversight to the fire department. The five members are elected from residents of the district for staggered terms of 4 years.
The Commission holds public meetings the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:00pm at the Keowee Fire District Headquarters located at 115 Maintenance Rd, Salem SC
